the hazing stuff is true about LPhiE. they can deny it all they want. spin it all they want. the bottom line is that the haze. don't get me wrong, for many of those who cross it's one of their defining college experiences. but hey who am i to say, some people feel the need to go through this physical rite of passage to overcome their insecurities and "belong". whatever happened to having self confidence and realizing that you don't need the approval of others, simply your self approval?

Fraternity men continue to be their own worst enemy. It is amazing that chapters engage in this type of reckless behavior after all the negative publicity fraternities have received the past 20 years.

I am a first time visitor to the site - and think it is a very valuable resource. Keep up the good work.

Omg, this fraternity is the WORST frat out there. They promote brotherhood when all they do is spank each other with paddles when they cross. They are all losers in high school who want to be cool in college and join this frat with their gang sign. They do push-ups on rice and bleed from every pore of their body in order to cross. No one cares about them.

As a mom my daughter showed me these pictures on facebook, look at those poor kids passed out, sexually harassing that poor girl and these kids with writing all over them. In one of the pictures you just see a bunch of college kids posing in the background with a kid passed out lying there not sure if he is dead or not. These college kids need to know better.

This is the same fraternity which has had two deaths in the past 18 months nationally.

At a Calif. school, a pledge died after a brutal bros-pledge football game.

At Texas, a new initiate drank himself to death, encouraged by his bros and some girls, celebrating his membership.

They need some adult guidance.
